All About Me
Okay, I was born in New York and have lived there my whole life. I love the snow
and we usually get a ton of it!  This year we had no snow for Christmas! :o(
Anyway, I started out on ebay making polymer clay beads to raise money for
my son Jake, so he could go on a missions trip to Bolivia. When I
would list my beads there was always this catagory that got my curiousity,
Lampwork beads.  When I saw what these beads were made of  I thought, I've got to
learn how to do this!!!  So, for my birthday two Novembers ago, my husband got me
lampwork classes! That was the beginning of Lampwork Glass Beads and the end of
Polymer Clay!!

I guess you could say that I'm a Jack of all trades and master of none!  I
knit, sew, rubber stamp, scrapbook, woodwork, tole paint, make jewelry
and now Lampwork, just to name a few!.
I have been listing glass beads on ebay for about 1 year now
and I think I found the art that I will be with forever!
It's so awesome, the possibilities are endless!

I am a mom of two, Jake and Mandy, and happily married to an
awesome guy, Rich, who supports me in everything creative thing I do!
Sometimes I wonder how he can put up
with my ever growing craft habbits!! But, he's always there
supporting me and he set up the most awesome glass studio
I could ever ask for!
This is a picture of the craft /computer room I have on the first floor of our house.
When my friends walk into it they always say, "This looks
like a Michaels in here"!!
(That is a craft store we have here)  Needless to say, this is one of my favorite rooms in our house!
Its very small, about 81/2' x 10' but its just perfect for me!
A U shaped counter all the way around the room and just enough space for a chair.
Here is my glass working area in the basement of our house.  Rich set this all up for me,
making sure he got the ventalation just right, and the lines
hooked up perfect.  I dont know what I'd do with out him!
I use mainly Moretti glass but I do have some Reichenbach and Satake glass also.  All my
beads are fired in a digitally controlled kiln which is in the corner of the counter but it doesnt
show in this picture.
When I'm not working on glass or creating something in my craft room I am working.  I work
part-time and I'm in training to be a buyer for the Jewelry and Card Department at Bender's
Parable Christian Bookstore, the biggest Christian book store in our area. Here is a link to the
store if you'd like to check it out.

This is my baby Holly!  She is a big
puppy- about 46 pounds!!  I love her
so much-she is such a cutie!
And this grows on the
side of
our house in the
summer!  Isn't
the color just beautiful?
I think God is the best
artist of all!  He sure
shows it
in nature!
